Parkland County recently underwent an upgrade to our accounting and billing system. As a result of the transition to our new system, Utility invoices that are typically mailed in the first week of May have been delayed until late next week. As a result of the delayed mailing, no late payment penalties will be charged for this billing cycle. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please be advised that Parkland County's Fire Hazard Level has been updated to Fire Restriction, effective May 17 at 3 p.m.
Fire hazard conditions are at a level where fires can start and grow quickly. No open burning fires or major burn operations are allowed.
Safe, recreational fires in approved fire pits, burn barrels/incinerators with screens, as well as gas/propane stoves, barbeques and fire bowls are allowed.
Major burn, outdoor fire, and consumer fireworks permits are cancelled at this time, and no new permits will be issued.
Using a Fire Pit? Know the Rules:
3m clearance from structures and combustibles
Max 0.6m high / 1.5m wide
non-combustible construction only
on bare ground or non-combustible base
not near utilities or overhead wires
Supervise your fire at all times and completely extinguish your fire when finished.

Parkland County's Fire Hazard Level has been updated to No Restriction.
This October, Parkland County Fire Services achieved a major milestone, becoming the only Canadian fire department selected to participate in the Fire Department Exchange (FDX) program, hosted in Flagstaff, Arizona, by the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ (IAFC) — and only the second Canadian department ever to take part.
Parkland County's Fire Hazard Level has been updated to Fire Advisory.
Fire Services warns residents that a fire restriction or ban may be coming if conditions do not improve. Open fires are allowed with permits, but residents are reminded to be extra vigilant.
